Lolly brand standards
Lolly turns a few simple inputs into finished, on-brand files. This page shows how Lolly looks, sounds and moves: pictures first, each with its rule in plain words.
Who Lolly is
Load a design system and Lolly steps back so your colours, type and files take the room. Lolly keeps the part people rarely notice: an interface that knows its craft, a cast with charm and work finished to a world-class standard.
Your brand loads and the tools, colours and type become yours. The more you shape, the more you own.
A calm, exact interface that does the careful work and stays out of the way.
Australian wildlife at work in the studio, with a lolly in hand when that helps.
Tenets
Respecting all work. Anyone, with what they own, creating for any medium at the highest quality.
What stays so everything else can change.
Inclusion of all people and technology
Quality made simple, choices scale.
Attribution, provenance, privacy, & consent
creativity & trust amongst the infinite
anyone can create, at any scale, anywhere
The mark
A candy no one could pull by hand: three nested rings, where most lollies have one rope. You sit at the centre, Lolly holds the middle and the outer ring is Lolly at massive scale.
Opal · colour
Opal is named for its theme: natural treats. Every colour has a name you can remember instead of a number. Green leads everywhere Lolly owns; the rainbow comes from what people make.

A colourway is a bundle: a lead, the colour that sits on the lead and a partner, with a look for light and a look for dark. Lolly Demo carries six. Choose one in any tool's Design system section and the choice stays with that piece. Wear one here and this page changes with you.

Crossland · type
Crossland is a tribute to Dave Crossland, who has spent years making the case for free fonts (see Shoulders of Giants), and to collaboration and cooperation across the countries we each call home. Outfit gives Lolly a headline voice of its own. SUSE carries the words and the italics, and SUSE Mono reads the code: enough of a nod to where Lolly comes from.
The sweetness stays.
The flavour is yours.
Pick a tool and fill in a few fields, or lay out the page yourself on an open canvas. The finished file comes out right either way.

Clinic · interface
Clinic is how Lolly's interface behaves: the forms, the components and the framework under them. Clinic leaves the colour to the guest and keeps the craft.
Every control shows a clear ring when keyboard focus arrives.
Highlight with a wash, a full ring or space. Edges come from light: a hairline ring and a soft drop.
A neutral hairline at rest; the accent arrives with hover, selection and state.
Also allowed: editing guides, the High contrast drag source and the forensic overlay.
Never colour alone. Verdict colours never take the guest's flavour.
Light is the chalice, reserved. Dark is the ship, emissive. Brand is home, a ground built from the guest's hue.
Lolly Demo brings Avocado light, Liquorice dark and Honey for unsaved work. The blank pack keeps newsprint and noir.
Playful effects stay off until someone turns them on, and they still obey Reduce motion.
A visible label on every field, plain words and errors that say how to fix the problem.
Etiquette · icons
Etiquette is Lolly's icon set, drawn in the open line style of Lucide, at the same weight as the words beside each icon.
Devices
A lolly is a disc, a spiral, a stripe, a stick and a wrapper. Every device comes from those shapes, so a new piece reads as Lolly before anyone sees the mark.
One moving swirl per view, and only while something is happening: the render, the export, the send.
One subject on a sweep with no horizon, lit from above and in front, with nothing to stand on.
Each tool as the object it makes, standing upright. No dish, no tilt.
The twist seen from the side: progress, the storage meter's hatch and the export shutter's stripes.
Cellophane printed with the ingredients. Every picture keeps its caption, and Content Credentials say how the picture was made.
Lolly's tone with your hue at first. Once the system is yours, so are the colours.
Fauna · the cast
Fauna wandered into a production studio full of sweets and found Lolly. They are curious, capable and on your side, and each looks after a part of the work.

Save now or abandon your changes.
The joey is the work you have not saved. When the dialog opens he leans back, looks up, then looks out, and the pouch line stretches with him. One single-weight line, coloured by the theme.
Reduce motion is on, so nothing on this page moves by itself. The button still plays the motion when you press the button.
Motion and Calm
Lolly moves when you ask for something, and stands still when you ask for calm. Calm and Reduce motion show the still of every moving piece.
Try Calm: this page's colourful pictures quieten to half saturation and half contrast, and the swirl and the kangaroo hold still.
Two registers
Most of Lolly is the room: bright, practical and friendly. When the topic carries weight, Lolly takes the stage and Fauna steps back.
