The newest of the small-file image formats, built on the AV1 video codec: excellent compression, transparency, and real HDR support. Lolly can write an HDR AVIF for bright displays. It reads and writes wherever your browser supports it natively, and now carries a Content Credential over its native ISO-BMFF structure - so an AI-made or upscaled AVIF keeps its provenance instead of losing it on export.
