Convert TIFF to JPG
A high-quality, uncompressed raster format favoured for archiving and handing to print or photo editors. Lolly writes a plain sRGB TIFF at your chosen DPI (transparency is flattened onto white), can also write an HDR version, and records provenance in the file's metadata. It's a desktop format: browsers can't preview it.
The classic photo format: smaller files by discarding detail your eye barely notices, which makes it ideal for photographs but poor for crisp graphics or text. It's always opaque (no transparency). Lolly tags it sRGB, can write an HDR version for bright displays, and embeds provenance and Content Credentials.
Most tools like this are upload sites: your file goes to their server, and ads pay the bill. Lolly runs on your device, so your file stays with you.

What carries over: EXIF, XMP - The converter moves the description, author, copyright and capture date into the new file. Location stays behind unless you turn it on, and a Content Credential cannot be copied: it is bound to the original bytes.
