If your team makes social posts, slides and flyers in Canva today, this page says where Lolly does the same job and where Canva stays the better fit.
What Canva does better
Canva combines a large template and stock library, apps and hosted team workflows in one managed service. That ready-made content and experience help when you need a starting point today. See Canva's templates and apps marketplace. Its live editing also has a long operating history at a scale Lolly's work collabs have not reached.
Where they overlap
Both let someone start from a template and produce a finished graphic without being a designer. Both support team work and brand controls: Canva packages these in its business plans, while Lolly keeps the creative app and the organisation server apart.
How Lolly does the overlapping job
A Lolly tool encodes the changes people may make, and the same tool runs in the browser, the desktop app or the CLI. A layout made on the Design canvas can become a tool with rules, and one tool can make many files from a table of values.

Standalone Lolly keeps making and exporting on the device, with no account, and works offline once its assets are saved. Two people can edit live in a private collab, device to device. Content Credentials are on by default for supported exports, and you can turn them off.
With an organisation
Lolly Work, run on your organisation's own server, adds sign-in, shared projects, live work collabs, approved assets and policies. What runs where sets the two parts side by side, with the limits every comparison shares.
