AAC

Advanced Audio Coding (ADTS stream)

Lolly opens and makes this format

Bare AAC audio: the same lossy codec as M4A without the MP4 wrapper, as an ADTS stream that most players and broadcast tools take directly. Lolly adds an .aac to your library and decodes it on your device for a music bed. A Design sequence, or Download as on an audio file in your library, writes one with the same AAC-LC encoder as M4A, in browsers that provide that encoder. A bare ADTS stream has no place for a Content Credential, so choose M4A when the file should carry one.

Most tools like this are upload sites: your file goes to their server, and ads pay the bill. Lolly runs on your device, so your file stays with you.
