DNG
Digital Negative (Adobe DNG)
Lolly opens this format
The open raw photo format from Adobe, and the one many phones and cameras write when they shoot raw. Lolly develops a DNG on your device with the colour matrices stored in the file, so the colour is exact rather than guessed. It reads uncompressed, Deflate, lossless JPEG and lossy JPEG DNG, Bayer and three-colour sensors, white balance, baseline exposure, crop and orientation, then stores a normal picture that opens in Darkroom and every other photo tool. It's import-only, up to 192 MB and about 50 megapixels in the 512 MB the decoder is allowed. The raw file itself is not kept, and a DNG that uses JPEG XL compression is not supported.
Most tools like this are upload sites: your file goes to their server, and ads pay the bill. Lolly runs on your device, so your file stays with you.
