CMX 3600 edit decision list (.edl)
Lolly opens this format
The plain-text cut list that editing and grading apps trade. Lolly opens a CMX 3600 EDL in Sequence with its clips, gaps, In and Out points, drop-frame or non-drop timecode and audio channels. A list carries no frame rate, so Lolly asks for one (or assumes 29.97 for drop-frame lists and 24 otherwise) and says so. Dissolves, wipes, speed changes, locators and colour decisions are listed in the import report rather than applied.
Most tools like this are upload sites: your file goes to their server, and ads pay the bill. Lolly runs on your device, so your file stays with you.
